Hayya Media Portal

The Hayya Media Portal was designed to facilitate Media's attendance to all / any event by applying for an Entry Permit, Accreditation and standardized Film Permit through a single registration. Additionally, the portal enables Media to process and obtain necessary approvals on their hand carry equipment ahead of their arrival to Qatar.

Types of Accreditation

There are two types of Media the portal caters to:

Accredited Media

Those that plan to attend events in person.

Digital Portal Access Only

Those who wish to access content from a distance.

Successful applicants will receive a Digital Hayya Card (in tandem with their Entry Permit), which is needed to access official event sites and enjoy other benefits as will be detailed in the communication issued via the portal upon successfully obtaining the accreditation and other permits.

Important Notes

Media must hold 1 accreditation type ONLY.

Coming Soon - In the event Media has previously obtained a Hayya for an event that had occured, they may renew their Hayya card with a new / updated application on their account

All information provided in the application must be accurate

All personal information must be identical to the information included in the applicant’s Passport or Qatar Identification Document (QID)

The application process takes around 5 to 10 minutes

It is advisable that all information and attachments required as part of the application are readily available with the applicant ahead of commencing the application, including:

• Passport or Qatar Identification Document (QID) Scan (JPEG 2 Mb) – valid for 6 months at least from the date of submission
• Facial Photo (JPEG 2 Mb)
• Credentials (Press Cards / Accreditation Badges from previous events / Samples of Previous Publications / Accreditation confirmation letter or any other letter or document to support the application) – PDF / JPEG / PNG / TIFF; 2 Mb each
